The Board Room

Excellent vibe and great service by the game gurus to set up and teach each of our games and make sure we were understanding and enjoying the game play. Truly they were passionate about the games and picked them based on our interests. We took a 4 hr game block for Rs. 400 per person (weekend rate, it will be cheaper on weekdays) and were able to fully learn and play 3 different games in that time. Food items were multi cuisine and all tasted excellent. Many hot and cold beverage options including Turkish tea, hot chocolate and mango drinks. Highly recommend this place, they also do local tournaments from time to time.

I’ve been to many board game cafes, but this place stands out because of its amazing ‘game gurus’—they are knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and attentive, always suggesting the right game based on your group’s interests. We were a group of six, and four of us were completely new to the concept of board game cafes. Thanks to the staff’s guidance, they had the best time and an amazing experience. This time, we played Tsuro, Point Salad, and Jamaica, and all three were fantastic picks. The cafe also offers a good variety of snacks and beverages at reasonable prices, and it’s purely vegetarian. Valet parking was available, making the visit even more convenient. Highly recommend for both beginners and board game enthusiasts!

I had a wonderful experience at Board Room, Mylapore. The board game collection is impressive, and I especially enjoyed playing Viticulture and Revolution. Both games were engaging and kept us entertained throughout our visit. The food was excellent as well – tasty, well-prepared, and served promptly, making it a perfect complement to the gaming experience. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help explain the rules of the games. Overall, Board Room is a fantastic place to spend time with friends, enjoy great food, and explore an amazing variety of board games. Highly recommended!

We paid 350 for the whole day package and ended up playing three games and the presenter made us really understand the games and those ones were really interesting. they had a huge genre of games of varied engagements. The ambience was simplistic and clean adding more juice to the set up.

I went to this place with my 4 of my friends on vinayakar chathurthi of 2025. We loved it . The game guides were awesome. They explained the games very interestingly and clearly. The food was good but little pricey. The atmosphere is great. We had lot of fun here! This place is definitely recommended for those who want to eat good food and enjoy playing games with friends! Best place to make memories !!

The Board Room was a cool spot with three floors of games! The staff (a guy with curly hair) was super helpful, suggesting games based on our group size and vibe. We kicked off with Tsuro - easy and fun...then got hooked on Eldorado. Loved their collection! There were some noisy kids nearby, but the management handled it well. Food? - it was average and nothing special. But for game nights, this place is a win!

Aug'2024 - Great collections of board games, with good explanation and hospitality from the staffs. Food was tasty, and there were decent varieties (only vegetarian options). We had fries with peri peri dip, garden fresh pizza with herbal mayo dip. They recommended entertaining games with options. The price was 100/hr per person in weekday, food cost was reasonable for the taste nd atmosphere, they also had a parking place nearby. Good vibes only! Revisited on Apr 2025, food quality and games were of good terms as like before. It was a holiday and they charged 150/hr for one person.
